Tawnya Vidovich, Creator of Canine Meadows

Tawnya is a devoted mom of three who grew up in the heart of Pitt Meadows. With a lifelong love for animals, she spent eight years as a veterinary assistant before choosing to stay home and focus on raising her children. But her passion for animal care never faded, instead, it grew into a dream that she brought to life: a pet resort on the farm in her hometown. She has a Canine Communications Certificate through New Skills Academy and a Veterinary Assistant Diploma from Granville Business College.

A nurturer at heart, Tawnya finds joy in the little things, whether it’s caring for animals, spending time with her kids, or taking in the beauty of nature with her beloved dog, Oreo. She has built a life centered around love, care, and connection, creating a welcoming space where pets can feel at home.

With over five years of hands-on experience in daycare, boarding, and grooming facilities, Brittany brings a deep understanding of canine care to her role. She is certified in pet first aid and volunteers weekly in the advanced kennel at PADS (Pacific Assistance Dogs Society), where she supports future service dogs on their training journey.

Brittany is especially passionate about dog behavior and takes a balanced, individualized approach to training—working closely with each dog to help them become their best selves. Her long-term goal is to become a certified service dog trainer.

Outside of work, Brittany enjoys cooking and spending quality time with dogs both in and out of the resort. Her calm, capable presence and deep commitment to animal welfare make her a trusted leader and a favorite among both pets and their people.

Emily Mcclure

Emily’s journey in the pet care world began in high school, walking dogs and pet sitting alongside her mom. That early experience sparked a deep love for animals that only grew stronger over the years. In 2022, she officially stepped into the industry by joining a dog daycare, where her passion truly took root and inspired her to pursue pet care as a lifelong career.

Certified in dog first aid, Emily is committed to the safety and well-being of every pet she works with. Whether she's leading a pack or spending one-on-one time with a pup, her calm, caring approach helps animals feel at ease and loved.

At home, Emily shares her life with Cuba, a lovable Bernese Mountain Dog who keeps her on her toes. When she’s not caring for dogs, she enjoys hiking, baking sweet treats, and getting creative with arts and crafts.
